Two green leafy plants on a green background

Beautiful. Fiery. Absolutely not for the timid.

Red mustard microgreens are not here to blend in. Deep burgundy leaves, a slow-building heat that sits somewhere between horseradish and wasabi, and a flavour that makes every dish it touches more interesting. If you enjoy spice - really enjoy it - these are your microgreens.

(Note: Grow trays and medium are not included. This is a seed refill for your Microgreens Pro Kit.)

  • Bold mustard spice, deep burgundy tones

With its burgundy-frilled leaves and intense aromatic heat, it’s less of a garnish and more of a spice. It’s perfect for those who find standard salads a bit too quiet.

  • The chef's secret weapon

Exceptional on grilled meats, smoked fish, ramen, burgers, and bold grain bowls. A small amount goes a long way - the heat is real. Also brilliant paired with something creamy (avocado, burrata, crème fraîche) to temper the burn. Use sparingly until you've calibrated their heat; then use freely.

  • Naturally nutrient dense

Exceptionally rich in Glucosinolates & isothiocyanates, Vitamins A, C & K, Anthocyanins, Selenium, Omega-3 fatty acids and Calcium.

Common Questions

Q: Are Red Mustard microgreens spicy?

A: Yes - they have a noticeable peppery mustard heat.

Q: How should I use Mustard microgreens?

A: Perfect for sandwiches, noodles, curries and salads.

Q: Do I need direct sunlight?

A: A bright windowsill or grow light works perfectly.

Q: How long do they last once harvested?

A: For maximum nutrients, eat them fresh! If you must wait, snip them and keep them in a paper towel lined, airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Q: Can I reuse the growing medium?

A: We recommend fresh coir for each crop to ensure optimal growing conditions, but the old coir is amazing for your compost heap or garden pots!
