Bunch of fresh green microgreens on a green background

Colourful, mild and packed with nutrients. A true everyday supergreen.

Red cabbage microgreens punch well above their weight in almost every direction -nutritionally, aesthetically, and in the kitchen. The deep purple-blue leaves come loaded with anthocyanins and deliver a mild, clean cabbage flavour that won't overwhelm anything they're added to. One of the most reliably striking microgreens on the plate.

(Note: Grow trays and medium are not included. This is a seed refill for your Microgreens Pro Kit.)

  • Mild and kid-friendly

Since the flavour is so mild, it's the easiest way to "hide" extra nutrition in kids' meals, sandwiches and bowls for even the pickiest eaters.

  • Perfect versatile garnish

Brilliant on tacos, slaws, grain bowls, and open sandwiches. The colour holds well even under dressing - a rarity. Exceptional alongside pale or creamy dishes (hummus, white fish, burrata) where the contrast is most dramatic.

  • Nutritional powerhouse

Studies suggest, Red Cabbage microgreens have 6x more Vitamin C and 69x more Vitamin K than mature red cabbage. Contain high levels Anthocyanins. Rich in Iron and Manganese.

Common Questions

Q: What do Red Cabbage Microgreens taste like?

A: Fresh, mild and slightly sweet.

Q: Why are they purple?

A: Their colour comes from antioxidant-rich anthocyanins.

Q: Are they easy to grow?

A: Yes, they’re reliable and beginner friendly.

Q: Do I need direct sunlight?

A: A bright windowsill or grow light works perfectly.

Q: How long do they last once harvested?

A: For maximum nutrients, eat them fresh! If you must wait, snip them and keep them in a paper towel lined, airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Q: Can I reuse the growing medium?

A: We recommend fresh coir for each crop to ensure optimal growing conditions, but the old coir is amazing for your compost heap or garden pots!
