Common Questions

Q: What do Pea Shoots taste like?

A: Fresh, sweet and crunchy like garden peas.

Q: Are Pea Shoots easy to grow?

A: Very! They’re one of the best beginner microgreens.

Q: Can you eat pea shoot tendrils?

A: Yes — the whole shoot is edible

Q: Do I need direct sunlight?

A: A bright windowsill or grow light works perfectly.

Q: How long do they last once harvested?

A: For maximum nutrients, eat them fresh! If you must wait, snip them and keep them in a paper towel lined, airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Q: Can I reuse the growing medium?

A: We recommend fresh coir for each crop to ensure optimal growing conditions, but the old coir is amazing for your compost heap or garden pots!
